    There's also the sitewide problem that subtle trolls get away with a lot and this case is a perfect example.

    Boston (sorry for a specific example) only seems to have become an issue because of the reported signatures. Basically, the poster had to more or less blatantly admit they were trolling before anything was done.

    Mods seem to have been aware of the unease caused by a certain poster but because something wasn't specified in a charter, reluctant to act.

    How you solve that is a difficult one, on what is a discussion site after all, but the same posters having the same discussions over and over and taking nothing from the other side on board should be a warning sign. Par for the course in politics but on a board like LGBT, I think not.
