I have a 32gb usb flash drive and I am using windows 7. When I try to copy a 9.2gb file it states that the file is to big for the destination folder but its not?

The flash drive I am using is a Apacer AH323

Stats windows 7 is not supported but per here it does

Any thing I can do ? Tried formatting it and no joy
    Thanks

2 things you could try :

    1. Format the USB drive as NTFS

    2. Sit back, relax and rerun the goals from tonight's match in your head ;)

presuming the flash drive is FAT32, it has a file size limitation of 4gb. any files over that won't copy over and you'll just get an error.

no need to format it and lose data. windows 7 can convert FAT32 to NTFS without loss of data (chances of corruption are minimal but you should still back everything up)

follow this guide and you'll be grand - http://www.sevenforums.com/tutorials/11106-convert-fat-fat32-volume-ntfs.html

i've converted my WD 1tb hard drive without loss of data from fat32 to ntfs.

EDIT: just seen your post. it's FAT32 so follow the above guide and you'll be grand.

Clicked on the drive then format then choose NTFS and Wallah so just copying now. Was nothing on the card. If this does not work will try your link whiteman19
