Looks like most of the team left their first touch back in Manchester.

    scummy from Bowyer

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 45,630 ✭✭✭✭Mr.Nice Guy

Bowyer with a dirty tackle there. Should be off for that.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 23,234 ✭✭✭✭J. Marston

Bowyer, dirty cùnt. Always has been and always will be.

Gibson did him a huge favour by getting up fast, fair play to him.

Have to say ridgewell and Ferguson with the two center backs have been great buys by mcLeish

There's only 1 different player tonight than against sunderland but the performance so far couldn't be more of a contrast. Rooney seems to be out on left more, gibson is doing nothing and there's no energy about anyone:mad:

FFS what kind of a decision was that?

  • Registered Users Posts: 3,254 ✭✭✭shano_88

All Birmingham atm. I can see a late goal from United sneaking this.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 9,153 ✭✭✭everdead.ie

Should of been a foul not a corner refs do that a lot though

    What a scrappy game.
Hardly surprising given it's Birmingham at home.
I'd fancy Birmingham to get a scrappy 1-0 win from here, I can't see Anderson lasting the 90 minutes be it from a red card or being taken off to prevent one.

    Glazers Out!

We could do with Nani and Valencia in this game we're so narrow it's unreal. Dull dull game.

    Nani on the bench even?

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 749 ✭✭✭niallk

I'm getting a head ache watching this. What the fucj are Giggs and Rooney playing at? They're providing no width whatsoever. Rooney's having a 'mare.

    Its shocking stuff allright .
I'd expect Birmingham to be poor but Utd are even worse.
Utd's away form is a big worry,9 points in 7 games and they have been rubbish in the vast majority of those matches.

From BBC... Man Utd: Van der Sar, Rafael Da Silva, Ferdinand, Vidic, Evra, Gibson, Carrick, Anderson, Giggs, Berbatov, Rooney.
Subs: Kuszczak, Neville, Hernandez, Evans, Fletcher, Obertan, Macheda.

You know the game is bad when Gray and Tyler start discussing their plans for the weekend.

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 16,658 ✭✭✭✭Peyton Manning

Gibson off please. He hasn't done anything wrong, he's just an incredibly uninspiring player.

  • Registered Users Posts: 2,490 ✭✭✭Ordinary man

Could be a good game to bring hernandez in to.

Not much United can do really without changing personel and the set up of the side for the second half.
Birmingham will be delighted so far, Cameron Jerome is the only man in a blue shirt outside his own half when United have possession.
It's a dire game but MC Leish has made sure it plays out that way.

I'm going to miss the second half, I bet it's going to be a 6 goal thriller, typical...

Why is Darren Gibson a professional soccer player?

    Seriously?

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 749 ✭✭✭niallk

Any wingers on the bench? Coz' there's none on the pitch.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 23,234 ✭✭✭✭J. Marston

Bring me on for Gibson in the second half.
I'd make more of an impact.

    Not really, but he's anonymous.

Obertan, I reckon him and Hernandez will get the last 25-30 mins.

I've watched a lot of Premiership football matches over the holidays and I have to say the vast majority of them have been absolutely appalling.

nothing wrong with him.... bring on him instead of gibson and go 4-4-2

Horrible game to watch. Birmingham are fighting like beavers though, fair play to them. Keeping United under pressure for the last 20 mins.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 2,883 ✭✭✭smokedeels

Chicharito or Obertan for Gibson, two up top.

He's a decent player, but not made for this type of game at all with the likes of thugs such as Lee Bowyer snapping at him I'd be surprised if he'd fancy it, although I'd love him to prove me wrong.

    Glazers Out!
