Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

MS Excel/OpenOffice Calc Question

    OK, here's what I need to do and as I'm not very bright, I'm hoping somebody smarter than me can help me out.

    I'm making a list on OpenOffice Calc in 3 columns, A, B and C. The data in B and C co-relate to the data in A and are not variable. A lot of the data is repeated and takes up a lot of time. So as I enter the data into Column A and press "enter", is there any way of setting up Columns B and C to fill up with the related data automatically after the initial entry.

    Is this clear?

    Thanks in advance.

    EDIT:

    BTW, the data is all text.

    You could use vlookup. The vlookup table can be on another sheet if you want to keep things tidy:

    That looks to be exactly what I'm looking for. I'll try it out a little later.

    Thanks :=)
