Change language on satnav

    got a sat nav for christmas and when setting it up I pushed a wrong ion and now the language is in arabic and i cant change it! anybody got any suggestions please? Its a Garmin nuvi 205w

    There's actually a forum dedicated to GPS under the tech>consumer electronic forum.

    Probably a better chance of resolving your problem there OP.

    Switch it on and type...

    Sorry - got a bit carried away there.
    Try this:

    1. Press TOOLS (the spanner symbol in the bottom right corner of the page that shows WHERE TO and VIEW MAP
    2. Press SETTINGS (the spanner symbol) or LOCALE on models that don't have SETTINGS
    3. Press LANGUAGE (The lips symbol)
    This brings you to a page with 3 items. VOICE, TEXT LANGUAGE and KEYBOARD
    To change the VOICE to an English speaking voice press VOICE and select an English voice.
    To change the TEXT LANGUAGE to english press TEXT LANGUAGE and select English.
