Can someone resolve a dispute? I had a bet on with a mate on the Wonderboy/Woodley fight. Should the one who backed Woodley win the bet, or should we both get our stake back?

Depends if the bet was phrased as to ''win the fight'' in that case all bets are off neither won the fight,

If it was ''to go home with the belt'' then the Woodley backer wins.

Well Woodley didn't win so no one should've won the bet.

It was to win. So it's a wash, right?

I had to google what something being "a wash" means, but yes I agree! Null and void, neither of you won.

No one won the fight, no one wins the bet.

Cheers, we're going with the consensus here.

Bet on woodley to win in rounds 1 or 2 myself and was shocked to see it voided and refunded after the fight. Not complaining though.

Had a little accumalator, only a fiver

    Khabib to win
    Edgar to Win
Woodley to win on points (6/1)
Conor to win by KO in Rd 2 (5/1)

    Gutted to say the least

Do you not get the treble? Do they do draw bets for mma? Everyone else seemed to have the Woodley part voided

If there was no option for to pick a draw then the void is correct.

    Depends on the market.
    If its priced up as
    • Woodley
    • Wonderboy

Then its a void bet or a dead heat, as no option is correct.
    But if they price it as;
    • Woodley
    • Wonderboy
    • Draw

...then it's a losing bet, as no option wins.

In this case, PaddyPower include Draw as one of the options in Method of Victory (@50/1). Which is a shocking price tbh, should be 250/1 or higher.

Cowboy ko or tko 100/30 with PP, Brown is shot.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 23,914 ✭✭✭✭mailburner

made the mistake of backing gigliotti on his debut against smith
giving him another chance, I don't believe he can possibly be that bad again, looked decent pre ufc albeit against cans

to win by sub 8/1 skybet/betv
4 of his 7 win have been by sub, opponent has 8 losses, 7 were by sub

    Pettis
    Cerrone DC KO/Submission
    Choi DC KO/Submission

    9.5/1 treble

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 3,135 ✭✭✭akelly02

Valerie, choi, cowboy, kennedy and max in an accum...any idea what time Valerie kicks off my bet at?

  • Registered Users Posts: 735 ✭✭✭Django99

Brown is available at 11/5 and I think it's good value. Not saying he's a cert but I think he's a step up for Cowboy. Similar to Poirier against Johnson, a guy in a tear after moving up weight comes up against a seasoned fighter.

In what area does Brown beat Cerrone?

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 23,914 ✭✭✭✭mailburner

torn between cerrone ko or sub, both very nicely priced at 10/3+7/2 compared to the pts win at 12/5
the change in camp might help brown but I think cerrone wins this everywhere
If he keeps it standing he wins by ko imo but he could easily sub brown also

feck it will go with the ko

is makdessi overpriced at 17/10 v vanatta or did vanatta just look better with ferguson having an off night? not sure myself

gonna chance krylov by sub also at 13/2

taking holloway pts also at 15/8, been stopped once, pettis never been finished
I think holloway will outwork pettis and take it on pts
