Elias Therodoru is the top 5 worse fighters in the UFC Ferreira will beat him easily tonight general 4/5 although 10/11 is available, fancy Jack Marshman too loves a war 13/8 good price.

Thanks for reminding me. Forgot to place my bet. I'd have been sick.
Seen the post on the bus to work and took a detour into the pub, bet placed.
    Odds 1.85, 1.50, 1.53, 1.28 = 5.43

Nah had the same as you. Sara McCann scuttled the bet early.
Good thing too as Lewis' finish was only 30seconds over.

    On to the next card

So just so I'm clear, you're specifying that it will be under/over a certain amount of rounds as well as the finish in a combo bet? Who's offering that?

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 39,569 ✭✭✭✭Mellor

Separate bets. You can't double them up as they are related bets.
    I'll prob an over/under accumulator and a winner/method accumulator.
I suppose you could mix over/under/method bets if they were from different fights

Just looking at the odds for this now, I would of had Woodley as the favourite so I'll be backing him at the 11/8 available

Really can't call main/Co main. What are people thinking?

Wonderboy and Khabib for me, both on points. You'll get several very different opinions though, two razor close fights on paper.

I am throwing down a treble of Hunt/Woodley/Ferguson very good odds on all 3 imo

My head says Woodley and khabib.

But I'd love Ferguson and wonderboy. Too close either way, might just follow the heart.

    Can't wait.

I dont understand why people say Wonderboy v Woodley is a close fight? I mean i was picking Wonderboy to win the first fight but what i saw in the first fight I'd have Woodley as favourite.

Double put on Khabib fight and Woodley fight to go the distance.

same here for woodley, backing him at those odds...does the same thing and wins this again imo

I like tony also but the 9/5 is long gone...6/4 is all im seeing but Im taking it

How do you not understand it? The first fight between them was a draw (which was scored correctly IMO), that sets the perfect precedent for a close fight. It could be a demolition job either way on the night given the crazy sport that is MMA, but it's very hard to pick between these two and pretty much every bookie agrees. They all have Wonderboy as a slight favourite though, for what it's worth: https://www.bestfightodds.com/events/ufc-209-woodley-vs-thompson-2-1234

UFC Matches Tyron Woodley v Stephen Thompson
    05-03-2017 05:00
    Method of Victory
Tyron Woodley by KO @ 9/2
UFC Matches Khabib Nurmagomedov v Tony Ferguson
    05-03-2017 04:30
    Method of Victory
Tony Ferguson by KO @ 11/2

I went for that and for 10 down i got 357 return on paddy power. Same as above actually.

I thought Woodley won the first fight? Who you think won the first fight?

Well it's absolutely fine to think Woodley won the fight, but it was officially a draw and that's how I scored it too. I think this one will be a narrow decision win for either guy, but I won't be putting much on that, it could easily end in the first round too, it's that kinda fight IMO.

I mean if anyone was close to winning by KO/Sub in the last fight it was Woodley. I am not saying Thompson can't win this but I think its crazy that Woodley isn't favourite.

    Bets made for this weekend.

    Main card over/under

Welterweight Tyron Woodley (c) vs. Stephen Thompson Over 2.5
Lightweight Khabib Nurmagomedov vs. Tony Ferguson Under 3.5
Middleweight Rashad Evans vs. Dan Kelly Over 2.5
Lightweight Lando Vannata vs. David Teymur Over 1.5
Heavyweight Alistair Overeem vs. Mark Hunt Under 1.5

    $10 returns $156

Also a $10 double in Hunt and Tony to win by KO.
(speculative with Tony, but felt he was over priced)

I'm not disagreeing that Woodley should be favourite, he did come closer to winning than Thompson. I'm just disagreeing with your statement that it won't be a close fight. Pretty much every fight has a betting favourite, it doesn't mean it's not going to be tough to call though, Thompson isn't going to go in with the exact same gameplans as last time, Woodley probably won't either, whoever makes the smarter adjustments will win it IMO.

Went to edit my post and accidentally deleted it ...Paddy's odds are better alright , just had the tenner in my Boyle account so went with them...Fingers crossed it comes off , either way should be a very entertaining night

Usually 48 hours before, sometimes as late as 24 hours.

I think this is a bit of a long shot but not a bad one.

    Woodley nearly finished Thompson already
    Johnson nearly finished Khabib
Overeem has a glass chin and Hunt has concrete in his fists

Oh sorry if I worded my myself incorreclty, I think for sure it will be a close fight, I just think Woodley is favourite imo
