I cant see past Tony Ferguson for this bout. Nurmagomedov is a bully but only if you let him and i dont think Ferguson will as he has everything he needs against Nurmagomedov. I think this is the best opponent each has faced but its a bigger step up for Nurmagomedov than Ferguson as i see it. Ferguson will be able to fight from his back better and get to his feet easier than anyone else to date and i dont see him taken down more than twice in the fight anyway and if Tony lights him up in the first he may not even be taken down meaningfully at all. I see it as a scratch match betting wise so the fact Ferguson is the underdog and i fancy him to win even on scratch just encourages me more.

Hunt looked terrible against a rusty Lesnar and is almost 43 years of age. Overeem has a glass chin and knows it. Overeem is a good grappler when he wants to be, and I can see him taking Hunt down over and over. 3/1 reem by Decision .

I also fancy Rashad by decision at 19/10

Havent seen this much but i fully agree. Overeem is getting more clever staying on the outside and being all round more evasive these days. These 2 can plod all day and i dont envisage a rockem sockem match up here. I think it will be a damp squib of a fight when everyone is expecting a 1st rd ko.

    Johnson nearly finished Khabib

He got wobbled for like a millisecond? He was nowhere near being finished.

Going for a Vannata by ko 15/8. Seems a safe bet! Made his debut on two weeks notice against Ferguson and probably would have beaten him if he did not gas. Also looked great in his short fight at 206.

Might through it in a double with Rashad by decision.

I'm seeing decent value in this acca for tomorrow night:

    Godbeer by KO
    Alcantara vs Sanders over 2.5
Overeem vs Hunt to go the distance
    Vannata rounds 1 or 2
    Khabib by KO or points
Woodley vs Thompson to go the distance

Only stuck a fiver on but it's over 100/1, Vannata is the only one that I'm wary of, other than that it's one of the better value bets I've found on MMA recently.

Seems like free money on Ferguson at the min, still 5/4 and no sign of khabib weighing in yet.

If he does and the fight goes ahead Ferguson will walk it. IF it doesnt go ahead its money back..

I just backed Tony Ferguson at 2.25. If the fight does go ahead then Khabib may be affected.

EDIT: @rogieop Hah you beat me too it!

Gone with .33 super yankee on PP for €39.40 to win €933.50

    Soukhamthath 2.1
    Bearjew Craig by sub 3.2
    Godbeer 1.66
    Sanders 1.8
    Hunt by lights out 2.7
    Cooper 1.9
    Wonderboy 1.72

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 1,066 ✭✭✭thewheel2.0

Bets for the night. Mellor inspired the accumulator :)

Hopefully we get clever Overeem tonight who mauls Hunt just like Lesner did and submits him, just like their last fight. Hunt could easily KO him though...

Lando has equal amount of submissions as KOs so I went for both. KO is more likely but you never know.

I really think Woodley has finishing power and will come in more focused against Wonderboy. I also fancy Wonderboy to outpoint him though so it's razor close...

Anyone have bets still not settled with Bet 365? I had:

    Double:
Woodley to win fight - 'Won'
Ferguson to win fight - Was marked as 'Void' but now back to 'To Run'

A 4 leg Overs bet in which the other 3 won and Khabib/Ferguson was voided, now back to 'To Run' also.

I imagine they have some T&Cs that say the bet stands if it's rescheduled in X days.
Get in tough and get them to settle as is. They should do it imo.

    Got this back:
Bets on postponed fights will stand for 30 days. If either fighter is replaced with another fighter all bets will be void and stakes refunded.

If after 30 days the fight has not been rescheduled your bet will be settled on the remaining selection

Will get on livechat later and see if they can settle now, bit of a pain

Same thing happened to my accumulator when Uncle Creepy had his fight cancelled. They settled it within two weeks. Just voided that particular fight.

My over/under bets were scuttle by Hunt.

But the main and co-main going the distance, and Woodley by Decision, returned a tidy profit by the end. 5th round main event it was all on the line

Gonna do a Treble of Rani Yahya/Edson Barboza/Shogun for this weekend.

Barboza will spark Dariush standing and could nearly see him getting a stoppage there - May look at prices for that too.

liking the double of barbosa and moraes at 2.33

think vitor is a tad big at 3s but if he doesn't get it done in the first
ten mins then he'll probably be done himself
if he does then maybe round one and two at 11s+18s might be the way to go although gast has never been stopped either
also thinking there might be value in gastelum sub at 13/2 or gast round two and round three at 5s+11s

kinda undecided to say the least :pac:
