Haven't the last 6-7 UFC (Male) title fights gone to a decision?
You are forgetting Barao v McDonald.
only GSP v Diaz went to decision since then. Before that, the last finish was Jones v Belfort I think.

Surprisingly good recent stat so. I can never bring myself to go pts in a championship fight though.

Forgot about Barao. But look at the Lightweight title fights. Edgar v BJ twice, once v Maynard, wice v Bendo, Bendo v Diaz........ a lot of decisions!

Have a few quid on thomson at 11/8
was as big as 17/10 yesterday

really feel this is a 50/50 fight which will end
    in a dec either way

I couldnt see diaz beating the likes of melendez and think
thompson is up there with the likes of him
I do think this will be a stand up war which will suit diaz
but thompson will have no problem banging for three rounds and
no matter what diaz throws, thomson will keep coming back at him and
feel thomson will be a bit quicker than diaz which will be the difference
    between the two
I like nate diaz but have a lot of respect for thomson and hope
he takes this one and stays injury free for a year or two
I'd love to see him go on a run
This is one of the few occasions im tempted to have a bet on
this being fotn but 9/4 is a bit skinny for that

Hendo melendez is one I cant figure out as hendo has fought
better fighters but melendez has looked the part in strikeforce
one side of me thinks hendo points at around 4/5 looks a safe bet
yet another side of me thinks melendez points at 7/2 looks too big
I just cant bring myself to have a bet on it but the fact that its
priced at around 4/11 to go the distance probably sums it up

    Good man josh
what a performance but never in my wildest
dreams could i have seen a ko

that doesnt do melendez chances any harm in fairness
he's surely overpriced but i'll take the money and run

    not to be sadly

melendez was 4/1 before the start of round 5

A lot of after timing going on lately. Let's get some discussion going before 159.

Magalhaes is still at 9/4 outright. Very good value there. I'd be tempted to go with Sheila Gaff @ 4/1 but it's very hard to bet against an Olympic wrestler.

I've gone with Vinny to win @ 9/4.
    Bisping on points @ 6/5

A small single on Chael outright at 13/2 just because I want him to win. Probably not going to happen but I'm not breaking the bank with the bet.

little or no aftertiming recently in fairness unlike in the past by
    a few others

I'm with you on bisbing also to win just about the only way
I think he can win this..on points

Torn between the above and a nelson bisbing double
Thing is about kongo....when i've backed him he loses
when i oppose him he wins (barry/mitrione)
No fighter in the ufc has cost me more but I think nelson
    will put him to sleep

I'm with you on Nelson v Kongo. I don't think Kongo's chin will hold up.

Healy has got a nice price and was on a nice streak in Strikeforce winning 9 of his last 10, only losing to Thomson. I think Miller will be too much for him and Miller will get the sub.

I'm on the Khabilov (1/3) and Nelson (1/2) double with Powers - Works out at even money, I'm feeling very confident.

just took the 5/4 on a bisbing pts win (ladbrokes)

I certainly won't be looking at any live betting if I
    stay up this time :o

It is headwrecking when people aftertime though, regardless of the post count, but fair play to that lad he wasn't BS'ing

Some more markets are available for this weeks card.

Magalhaes by sub is 6/1. Miller by sub is 4/1

I've put 2 singles on that.

    That's a sensational price! I'm grabbing that!

As good as Magalhaes is on the ground Davis is a sensational wrestler and I can't see him being taken down. On the other hand I'm all for that Miller by submission. I like Pat Healy but he's not in the league of Jim Miller who is still a top ten LW in my opinion.

Roy Nelson by submission is 13/2. Usually I'd say that this will be a stand up war but with Kongo's new game plan of boring fighters to death against the cage this might be worth a shot.

Though Jones by KO would be less than 6/4 after I seen how low he was on the win.

This may be true, but Vinny can win from his back. You just have to consider, if they fought a number of times, would you expect Vinny to win by Sub in slightly more than 1 in ever 7 times they fought? If so, it's value.

I don't see this fight staying on the feet. Even if Vinny is on his back he's very dangerous. Magalhaes is a very high level grappler, won ADCC not long ago beating Werdum in the final. I'd say he'll stop Davis.

I'm of the opposite opinion. See this being a 15 minute grindfest against the cage.

Bisping belcher FOTN 10/3 think they will go at it for 3 rounds if nobody gets ko'd

Anyone think people are overlooking Kongo?

Almost everyone I've seen has been picking Nelson

No not at all nelson is a tough mother ****a he's not getting stopped , Kongo will get ko'd or dropped and then subbed . He lost me a lot of accumulators he's so inconsistent. He's easy to hit and is chinny.
    Nelson a beast

Kongo has always been the real nowhere man of the HW division. He's not going to out grapple Nelson. He's not going to sub him. And even if he brought Hacksaw Jim Duggan to the cage with him to smash him over the head with a 2x4, it's unlikely he's gonna knock him out........

Also, Nelson is just better IMO. My money would be on Big Country.
