Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Anyone else backing bendo to finish Dos Anjos tonight??

Over 3 rds I would have said it will go the distance but I don't think Dos Anjos can handle him for 5 rds without succumbing. And I think Bendo will have to much of an edge in close quarters.

Henderson by KO or Sub: 23/10 in PP.

Leg kicks, clinch up, dance around, disengage repeat x 5 for the unanimous decision.

I'm doing a Bendo win, Hollaway win, Leites Carmont over 2.5 rounds at Evs.

Good value in the unders/overs for the under 5 rds in the Bendo fight. Lot of high octane in Bendo. Everyone thinks what Glock Lesnar expects to happen but it will be finished under 5 rds. Get on.

Haha. Painfully true unfortunately. He generally wouldn't even finish his dinner but i think he just might do the biz tonight.

Just reading up about Jordan Mein's dad/corner man being arrested for sexual harrasment, on the day of his fight. That's got to mess with his head. Was fancying Pyle in this fight anyway, so lumping on that single at 7/4

looks a nailed five rounder whatever happens imo

mightn't have that killer instinct then
makes the pyle decision at 11/2 look big then so took that
really clutching at straws here :P

    disaster of a night
last thing i expected was a dos anjos ko
can't string two back to back wins together this year at all

    edit,
leites ko was best at 14/1 with ladbrokes
most were going 12/1 on a dos anjos ko
    couldnt have had either myself

Only have one bet made so far for tomorrow night.

5 fight accumulator. Hamilton, Cejudo, Ferreira, Ferguson and Barao to win. €20 stake should return around €210.

Until I started trying to decide on where my money was going I didn't realise how closely matched most of tomorrow nights fights are.

Cejudo is out due to not safely making weight.

I went for barao, correira and ferguson at 4/1

single on tj is all at 8/11

see no reason why by doing the same thing that he won't win again

  • Registered Users Posts: 3,539 ✭✭✭John_D80

    Barao out?? Balls.

  • Registered Users Posts: 3,539 ✭✭✭John_D80

Question for you guys? With Cejudo and Barao out does my 5 fight accumulator just change to a triple or will I get a refund??

Bet was made through PP app.

Bet was made through PP app.

The cejudo leg will become void and your bet will continue as a 4 leg multi

    Not barao, cejudo.

Word on the grapevine is Barao is out as well. Just broke a few minutes ago but as yet not %100

Just saw that, officially worst event of all time

looking forward to seeing odds on this :pac:

this lad might be an even bigger underdog than cariaso
on second thoughts im guessing he probably wont be much bigger
    than what cariaso is, 8/1

  • Registered Users Posts: 3,539 ✭✭✭John_D80

    Soto @ 15/2 with PP.

I know sweet FA about this lad but checking his record, he has something like 12 stoppages (mostly subs) from 15 wins with two losses (1 KO & 1 Sub). And from reading up about him, apparently he is a very tidy wrestler, former teammate of Jon Jones and Cain, and former NCJAA all-american. I know being an NCAA All-American is a big deal so if NCJAA is anything related to that, then he is pretty decent.

Might be worth a tenner for the craic

He wont be worth a tenner, the same way Cummings fighting DC wasnt worth tenner, such a joke lately with all these injures. Terrible card.

    went with the double of
correia and ferguson which works out best at 7/5 with pp

don't rate baszler at all and think ferguson should get the job done
I'm not sure he should be as short as 2/5 though

actually tempted by nijem at 7/4
My feeling is that he shouldnt really be that big of a price but to be honest
I dont know enough about his opponent, beating colton smith tells me nothing at all and thats all ive seen
nijem beat a decent guy last time out and looked an improved fighter so that must be down to a change in camp, just seemed so motivated compared to some of his previous fights
cant decide whether to back him or not though, love to know if anyone has
    any opinions on nijem

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 23,914 ✭✭✭✭mailburner

Took nijem on pts also at 4/1 betv

feel he'll have an advantage striking and if he can avoid a sub I think he
    has a great chance here
been training with shields which should do some good

Dillashaw on points at 5/1. Reckon he'll be a bit more cautious, considering Dillashaw won't have been training for this particular guy.

I also think there's a lot of value in Dillashaw on points or ko at 4/5.

    Dillashaw in the fourth 17/1
Same bet in the fifth 33/1

Stuck a fiver on each of these also, if he puts Soto away it will be late, as Soto will only have been training for three rounds

    very lucky win there

    brilliant picks there, great reasoning
the 4/5 looked a great bet but the 33s...wow

Cheers pal, fairly happy with it now I must say.

Personally I think paddy powers priced this fight all wrong. Can't see how you can have a guy 1/14 to win a fight, and then nearly evens to finish his opponent!

    good point, odds were wrong
kicking myself for not backing that
