Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. Joe Duffy 1/8 vs Jorge! That just seems crazy to me.

Insane. And i highly doubt there has been enough money put on JD to push the odds out that far alone.

Duffy would be well fancied obviously but going by those odds you'd think Ivan Jorge was fighting with one arm tied behind his back. He (Jorge) isnt ever going to trouble anyone in the upper echelons of the division but those odds are an insult to any fighter.

Did any of the bookies pay out on McGregor being champion by the end of a certain year, I remember PP had one for end of 2016

    Thoughts on tomorrow?

I've gone for Bisping decision, Edwards, Latifi and Pearson. I'm a bit iffy on Bisping, but I think he's generally worth a bet as his only way of winning is a decision so good odds are guaranteed.

I think i can safely say the answer to that is no
not until he gets the real belt

leites for me but I dont know how hes going to win exactly (sub/ko..even pts)
I expect him to come out very agressively like he has done recently and if bisbing can avoid a sub/ko after two rounds I think he has a chance
I thought leites might have been favourite for this myself

think anyone backing bisbing instead of bisbing pts is nuts as like you I think he can only win this on pts and 9/4 isnt a bad price for that

tempted by brimage also but not going to go near him till i see some video on rivera

fancy pearson also, dont rate dunham who's very durable though
theres always a possibility of dunham landing one though but ross wins this
    standing for me

also wondering how good casey is v calderwood, should calderwood be 2/7 to win this I wonder?
silly thing maybe to say but will the occasion get to her?
know nothing bout casey so going to see if i can find some video first

Other girl is 4-1 (4 1st round finishes; A submission loss)

She appears to have a fairly decent game as evidenced below and maybe even worth a punt if it wasn't on such short notice, submissions certainly a part of her game something Jojo has been exposed to (the girl in Germany, Rose on the show).

watched 4 of her fights and she was winning the one where she got subbed with seconds to go
her stand up not as good maybe but she's tough and will keep coming forward

think the sub is worth a little bet at 12/1

    main bet
    leites evens

    smaller singles+double
    casey sub 12s
    leites sub 4s

leites sub and in round 2 also at 14/1 only pp doing these
and a wee double above with casey sub

have to do these in shop with pp as they dont like me online :(

Paddys opponent has 6 losses by sub. Looks interesting to me, thoughts?

Bet specifically stated that interim titles don't count. He needs to beat Aldo, or for Aldo to retire.

Calderwood is very overhyped, flashy kicks but no defence standing or ground game. I'd imagine this fight was set up for her to win but given her odds I'm staying clear.

She admitted she had bad camp, I wouldn touch her

    Didn't know that

Few shillings on casey at 11/4 for the win also
Got to be worth the risk

Calderwood admitted she had a bad camp for this fight? or do you mean the last fight?

Joanne Calderwood says she had a bad camp, says she is battling her own demons... don't bet on her this weekend.

I like it but I'm not sure about Wineland, I might swap him for TJ. Barao looked poor again in his last fight despite winning.

I've decided to lump on TJ by points. Even before he landed that huge overhead right in the first fight, he looked the more complete fighter. I'm expecting to see a more cautious Barao than last time, but I can see TJ outclassing him once again with his incredible footwork and fast hands.

    Baroa, Barboza and Tate treble

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 23,914 ✭✭✭✭mailburner

    main bet for me
    lauzon/barboza 13/10

    accum at 20/1
    Zak Cummings @ 3/10
    Eddie Wineland @ 10/13
    Ben Saunders @ 10/11
    Joe Lauzon @ 3/10
    Edson Barboza @ 8/11
    Miesha Tate @ 1/2
    T.J. Dillashaw @ 2/5

gonna chance tj to win in round 5 again at 20s and round 4 at 16s

might to a mov for saunders also, just dunno what way he wins though if he does at all

Two small bets for fun for me tonight.

    Accumulator on the following (32/1):

    Cummings
    Nijem
    Cruickshank
    Saunders
    Villante
    Lauzon
    Barboza
    Tate

    Barao via submission (9/1).

Small "liven things up" bets for me.

Steele by decision and Barao to win (17/1).

    Cruickshank by Decision
    Wineland by finish
Miller v Castillo - Either to win by sub
    Lauzon By Finish
T J v Barão Not to go the distance
    Steele by Decision (Winner)
    550/1ish
