If Caraway losses Meisha might have trouble. She has already gone to the stadium to help him. Might be worth a look later after Caraway fights

Decent bet on the Barao fight not to finish and Luazon to win at 10/11

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 12,438 ✭✭✭✭El Guapo!

Couldn't really decide on anything for this. In the end I just done a couple of small bets for fun.

Just went for a 35/1 treble of:

    Miller by Sub
    Lauzon by Sub
    Felder by KO

And also done Tom Lawler by Sub at 15/2

    Took barboza to win,
I also got Barao to win, €60 at 2/1, insane price had to take it

Also, 6/4 for the main event to go the distance. Good value imo, it's going all the way at least half the time

only bet I didnt stick up here at 39/1 was let down by what i thought
was the biggest cert of the three
    lauzon sub 10/11
    saunders pts 4/1
    barboza pts 16/5

    feck

    eye on pts 7/2

just think there'll be very little between these two and its value compared to tate pts at evens

Tom Lawler ruined my 6 man acca, watching the fight I was just waiting foe Villante to finish him. Fair play to Tom though, tough mofo.

I handicapper / tipped Rousey to win in R1 about 2 months ago at -175, now she's saying she wants to drag it out to set an example *facepalm* :)

In terms of my personal bets, I've got Ronda in all my outstanding bets, parlayed in.

    s23.postimg.org/7hdutgdff/rondawin.jpg

Got $188.03 riding on it, from $71 worth of bets for 164.8% ROI :)

I only had a bankroll of $130ish a couple of months ago, and got it up to $646.75 if Ronda wins, since I started trying to bet properly with research.

wondering would sao be a good thing to ko bigfoot at 4/5?

if mir and arlovski can bo ko him in brazil I'm thinking sao will if he connects at all given the power he has

think big nog is overpriced to beat struve at 6/4 and if he wins I think he might do so by ko which looks very big at 5/1 imo (skybet)
the man seems to be bulletproof in brazil and I still recall him walking through everything schaub threw at him in brazil before putting him away
cant see why struve is 8/13

magny I think has a good chance and feel if he does he can only win by pts
but when hes 6/4 to win and best at 2/1 on pts I'll pass on it
if he keeps it standing I think he can beat maia...there's should be leagues between these two on paper but its a long time since I was impressed by anything maia has done

    treble also at 23.61/1 (skybet)
    magny
    big nog ko
    sao ko

Soa and Big Nog are good bets. Don't know much about Magney. I'd fancy Shogun by KO but that may be my heart ruling my head

    Going with a 46/1 shot...

    Alcantara by decision
    Magny by decision
    Struve by KO
    Rousey by sub rd1

Also a single on Cummins KO @ 3/1

  • Registered Users Posts: 2,795 ✭✭✭dulux99

I don't buy into this "ronda will drag it out" nonsense. If ronda has her on the cusp of finishing her, and then holds back, the ref is going to stop it anyway. Can't see this getting out of the first two minutes.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 1,326 ✭✭✭MartyMcFly84

I all likely hood she will just extend into the arm bar as much as possible before the ref stops it.

    I have 10er on

    Gadelha to win
    Palelie win KO
    Nogueira to win
    Rua to win KO
    Rousey win Submission

    18/1

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 39,576 ✭✭✭✭Mellor

    Cummins to win
    Rua by Pts or KO

Prob a main event bet too

    same as that
doubt very much beth will get out of the first
the submission and round one combo is 5/6 on paddy which looks big if she goes about this in her normal psycho fashion and most are 8/15 on this

never had much luck picking rounds and tend to go for value in round two most of the time at a much bigger price but even this time i'll probably avoid round two which is top at 11/2

I'll have a small bet on on submission/round two at 8/1 (unibet/888) simply because paddy are only 5s on this (dont see any others pricing it)
it may be unlikely but for a few euro I'll risk it

Well guys not much into betting generally, but have been fairly accurate with last few ufc events, so figure I'll fire a few small bets down nothing crazy, anyway my question is which bookie is best for mma betting preferably with an app for smartphone... I live in the sticks.
    Thanks in advance

I noticed paddypower were the same price for "Ronda by sub in Rd 1" and "submission TD 1" (either fighter)
Both were 5/6, so a little extra coverage with the second option, but it's gone now.

I was holding out for robda sub r1 to move to evens

magny out to 2/1 now with coral yet best priced 9/4 to win by pts lol

have to do a wee single now at that price

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 23,914 ✭✭✭✭mailburner

    shields 4/7 v palhares 11/8

ok, If it were the other way around that would sound right to me

surely palhares has to worth a bet at those odds?

palhares by sub 5/2, 14 of 17 wins by sub, shields never been subbed
close call if it goes five I'd imagine

Just a small €5 long shot accumulator for me tonight :

Rousey by 1st Rd Sub 5/6
    Soa Paleli KO @ 8/11
Pat Cummins on Points @ 15/8
Warrley Alves by Sub @ 11/2

    Returns just shy of €300

2 singles on the Nog bros at 7/4 and 7/5. Shoguns chin is crocked. Struve has had a heart attack and also blacked out before the Mitrione fight and couldn't compete. 2 losses in a row including a vicious KO by Mark Hunt. 7/5 looks value to me.

Ronda 1/20 to win on Bet365, I'll pass thanks.

Does any site offer odds on specific submission MOV on Rousey's fight? For example. Ronda by Armbar in R1? I know it's a long shot but it'd be great if there was such a thing.
