Hi Guys, I'm hoping to go to Melbourne in April for 2 weeks to visit my sister. Only thing is, I'm hired through a recruitment agency at the moment and get paid by the week. I don't have any savings at all so was thinking my best option might be to book flights through a travel agent and gradually, week to week, bay off…

Hi Guys,

I'm hoping to go to Melbourne in April for 2 weeks to visit my sister.

Are travel agents competitive and can I bargain with them?

Is this a terrible idea and would I be better off trying to get a loan and booking online (the bank probably wouldn't give me a loan being honest so this may not work!!)
