Stunning, Co. Sligo. My god it moves eh. Also the moon is up above the southern horizon and is glowing brilliantly.

If i said i seen it over dublin city at 29:49 going from West to East and it was a bright light going by would i be right? Judging by the map it was over Germany at that time.

:D It passed my house at 23.46hours and according to the map the craft was over Belgium. It's surreal.

Never seen it so bright. :)

Amazing to think it was over Germany while looking at it here in East Galway !

I wonder how many thousands of us were outside all staring up at the same thing just now?

So what time should we expect the next sighting tonight? It's been a while since I last saw the ISS pass over and would really like to see it tonight!

  • Registered Users Posts: 113 ✭✭Chemistry Ftw

I think you add another 90 mins to the time you last saw it? Not completely sure though! That was amazing! It was moving so fast!

02:55 mostly everywhere and 02:58 in the Cork area. Coming West to SouthEast/South.

Had no idea about the lunar eclipse till just after it was over so am sickened about that but I did get to see the ISS twice and get a nice shot of the 'normal' moon so I'll make do with that :-)

No idea whats going on here, don't know if I'm looking upside down sideways or what. Alslo no idea what I'm looking at. Certainly didn't notice anything that resembled the ISS. I don't think your video quite worked.

Saw it again for the 3rd time tonight still looked great. Couldn't record it because wasn't visible on the cam, maybe the moon was too bright.

Just saw it for the third time tonight too.

Hard to believe there are 6 people up there in that thing.

Wish I was one of them !

Why are we getting 6 minute passes at the mo. the longest I've seen in the past is 4 minutes. Is the ISS slowing down or just something to do with d'angle dangle.

D'angle dangle :D:D Just like you said. It all depends on the time of day, year and angle of approach in relation to the suns position.:)

i have seen it many times over the past 11 years and still fills me with awe. It is a thing of beauty:)
