Sky's party line: Players fault, previous managers fault.

    Never the English gentleman, never.

    Xenophobia at it's worst.

Not quite sure what he has done wrong tonight. You have your full strength team out, you're at home and you're playing the bottom of the league team. Individual performances have been absolutely phish.

Might be the strongest 11, not much point when in the wrong positions

Andy Gray didn't like Rafa...He thought he should go and he's clearly incorrect in that decision,

    They're a bunch of idiots.

Jamie Redknapp is the star man of their football analysis.

    Says it all.

Whatever Sky's view is, you're generally on safe ground if you take the opposite view.

It's media muppets like them that got Roy the job in the first place, over hyping an average English manager

    Fair play Micko and Wolves.

Hodgson surely sacked in the morning.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 1,731 ✭✭✭FrostyJack

A crescendo of boos around Anfield from the Liverpool fans who bothered staying until the end and that will hurt Roy Hodgson, who looked punch-drunk as he got up off his seat and shook hands with Mick McCarthy.
    From BBC

Him and at least 2 other players should be sacrificed to the crowd or wild dogs or something.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 1,084 ✭✭✭Pete M.

I predicted Roy's appointment months in advance and now can't wait to see the back of him.

Out of his depth, simply put.

    Performance was awful.

We have the players so why they so sh1t?

Because of Roy I'm afraid to say.

Please don't bother giving him money, just get someone (The King) in quick, please.....

But fair play to Mick and the boys. They deserve it.

If roy isn't sacked soon, it'll be interesting to see who he buys. Surely if he gets to buy it'll mean they'll keep him for the season?

Jamie pushing his anti-Torres agenda again.

Redknapp is a brutal pundit but he is dead right on this one , Torres has been rubbish for us this season , id rather have Babel up front giving 100% than a stationary Torres pissing & moaning for 90 mins

    To be fair; the likes of Gerrard and Torres clearly don't give a ****e playing under him. He is the problem atm and Liverpool need a change of direction. They have two choices as I see it;

    (a) Accept this season is a write off, design a strategy to ensure you'll be in Europe next season and persevere with Hodgson in the hope he gets it right next season.

    (b) Someone new in; strip out the ****e and gamble on them being able to get Liverpool going again.

Either way I think you're set for mid table this season.

How many of those same players finished 2nd the season before last and now face a relagation battle because of Hodgson?

The string-em-up brigade are out I see with regards Hodgson. Never the players's fault is it? Barnes was right in what he said before the match, but anyways, well done to Mick and the Irish lads. Foley played well I thought.

If it happens now and again then I blame the players. But when it happens week in week out the manager is responsible imo
