Im really sick of this now. The next person who replies to this thread who isnt offering some form of advice to the OP will be taking a break from the forum.

I would suggest eroo and Hanley take a time out from this thread? It's a back and forth of yes and no's in each reply, but these yes and no's are USELESS unless you explain WHY it's a yes or no.

It's becoming a thread of who can see who knows more/who is better. I thought we were grown ups.

I'm taking a permanent time out from this forum.

I'm just tired of the continuous crap from idiots.

Good luck with the forum in the future, I sincerely hope the tight knit cliques change.

I lift heavy 3 times (my definition of heavy) a week with goals of increasing strength and getting bigger and i also do cardio 3 times a week. Never been a problem for me. If one began interfering with the other i'd revise. So OP if you feel fine after each and you don't see any decline in either one continue with both.

There's too much emphasis on this is right and that is wrong in fitness. Use opinions and articles as guidelines but never take them as Gospel. See what works for you.
i would have to agree with much of that and the average reader just wants to get rid of some flab and have enough energy to run about a bit and look good in their clothes so there is no need to get overly complicated with those goals,

Lift some weights, get stronger, do straight cardio or intervals if you like, stretch more, foam roll, eat right most of the time = win.

getting in amazing shape or being a super strong powerlifter is a totally different ball game
