Whats the best TG special in your opinion??

Mine is the Vietnam one, brilliant episode and a great country.

The only one on motorbikes too!!

personal favourite is the boliva special one. the jeeps through the jungle, something i'd love to do. The drive across africa would be a close second.

I think Botswana is the best. The scenery, the banter, the cars... It's probably the one I've seen the most though, when I watch the Middle East one a few more times I might change my mind.

1 Botswana for the mix of cars and scenery,
2 USA in the Deep South,
3 the North Pole (even though this was arguably their greatest achievment)

As physical achievements go the Nortth Pole was quite an acomplishment and Clarkson Hammond and May go into the History books for that one.

IMO tho the 'Best' special was Botswana, and I think most people will have the same favourite moment "ÖLLLLLIVERRR"

I liked Bolivia too, but mainly because I have a Passion for 4WD's which is probably why Vietnam is down at the bottom of my list, Motorbikes dont excite me at all.

the American Specials were a bit Meh, but I liked the bonnerville episode

Vietnam for me as well, stunningly beautiful country. I'm not a motorbike guy but watching it made me want to make the same trip myself.

Polar Special - even bought it on DVD - though I still have an issue with it, we don't know how long it took the Hamster to reach the end...........

According to Hammond's book, he and Matty didn't make it to the pole. They hadn't the energy. A plane picked up the team at the Pole and then picked up Hammond's team a couple of hours later.
