Yeah but people have complained about venues before. In fact, you just did so.

I always tend to be up in Galway doing the music thing, I shall now add both of ye to my list of enemies I'll invite to gigs :)

    SCORE!

I shall bring my sniper rifle and practise my aim :pac:

The plan was just to goto Berlin for two conferences and XMas and New Years.....

But had a "slight" detour to Lisbon on XMas Eve and then Palma Mallorca Airport of XMas day before hitting Berlin later on XMas Day :/

    Holy Mary

On the positive side I hope ye met nice people while wandering about the airports :)

Ok well i always enjoyed the beers at Bull & Castle.

Or Pravda/whatever that place is called now.

I second the Bull + Castle it was quite awesome. Plus has special place in my heart as the first ever boards beers I was at :D:D:D

Pravda/whatever it is.....was in there once but didn't get what the big deal was.

Gypsy sounds like it always good but no idea where it is.

Pravda's not Pravda no more! It's a stupid hangout for hipsters. :pac:

Eep. I withdraw Pravda then. My last memory of it was your birthday beers FC :)

Was it not always a bit of a hip spot? What with its overpriced beer and such?
Tis pretty hip now though, all these new venues seem to be really. I haven't been in Bull & Castle, but I do enjoy their tales of German steins!

That explains what was wrong with the folks in there and why they were giving me and the mates funny looks :p:D

Where else can we reserve a little corner AND have such a great selection of tunes? I'll enjoy dancing, that's for sure!

... though having said that, everytime I've gone there for the last few years I've been cursing the irritating students. It actually makes me go "****ing students!" or rather "****ing kids!" because I just graduated yesterday or something :P

I haven't been in too many dublin pubs but I can't imagine many places would have that much space to dance about on a saturday night.

Not necessarily Doyles. I'm not a fan and would just as soon go to a better pub and then a club after as we have in beers gone by.
