Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Rent Supplement & moving house

    Could anyone tell me if you can move to a different county with Rent Supplement if you want to try and settle into a new community.

    If you move house, even in the same area, you have to reapply for Rent Allowance, which is what you mean?

    We moved area in August; still waiting for RA to come in. The hold up is the local council Housing Dept assessment.

    No not in the same County but in a different County altogether. I want to move from one County to another. I am on a housing list but i would like to transfer to a different County list. Can I do this? I want to start fresh with my family.

    Yes, you are still eligible wherever you move.

    And no you cannot transfer from one housing list to another. You have to reapply to the county wherever you move and reapply for everything.

    We moved county in August and are still waiting for the RA to come in; the delay is with the council housing dept here.
