anyone tried lightnet, http://www.lightnet.ie/ around loughrea? eircom, dont need the phone line have tried o2, meteor and vodafone broadband dongles, o2 appeared to be the best, but the speed still isnt amazing on it. anyone used this lightnet system, seems to be on wimax ?

I've been using these guys for the last few years. Have never had any problems. Cant remember the install fee, but it was competetive. They came around on the agreed date and put up the pole on the chimney with the flat panel. Rarely if ever goes down and speed is adequate for what I need. No connections to lightnet, just a satisfied customer.

presently with UTV but line rental is a pain in the ass!
might look at these guys!
