Hi John & co, just looking for some prices or impending excellent deals on a set of bookshelf speakers please. Do ye sell Kef speakers? Something like the IQ30's or any of it's rivals. They'll be coupled with the Denon 1911, recently purchased from you!
    Thanks!

    Tea,

apologies for the delay getting back to you - I have been up to my ears personally over the last week and have had very little time on boards - so apologies again.

We do very little with Kef at the moment but I'll happily get you a price no problem and revert early next week.

On the IQ30 alternatives here are a few ideas:

Mordaunt Short Aviano 1 XR - £199.95 Ok these are quite a bit cheaper but they do sound excellent and at £249.95 they were launched at a really agressive price - at £199.95 they are really bonkers!

Monitor Audio RX1 - these are my favourite bookshelves under £500 and both look & sound S U P E R B - they are currently £389.95 with free delivery for Boardies - the finishes on this speaker are really the best you will find from any manufacturer and they are also available in either Piano white or Black at just £469.95 - you have to see & hear these to understand just how good they are!

We also have a couple of pairs of the Mordaunt Short Mezzo 2's at a mad £299.95 http://www.richersounds.com/product/bookshelf-speakers/mordaunt-short/mezzo-2/mord-mezzo-2-blk

Apologies again for the delay - I hope that you are enjoying your AVR1911 and keep me posted if we can assist in any way.

Thanks for the reply. Quick question - what's the difference between the Mezzo2 and the Aviano2 speakers? Both are the same price.
Those Monitor Audio's look good alright... quite tempting... a centre and rears might just stretch a tiny bit, may have to go with the Bronze ones for the rears.

    Tea,
Apologies for the delay getting back to you - the Mezzo and Aviano ranges are completely different - the Mezzo is a more expensive and more substantial product - I am clearing out the Mezzo 2 at the moment, hence the pricing ;).

    Keep me posted,
