They are a gift of an invention and you can completely network your house without any messing.

They work but are quite expensive as far as i remember.

Especially because you need 2 of them.

    EDIT:

Actually that's a really good price on that site.

I would go for the Devolo ones if i was you, i went through a few brands of them before settling on them. I have the 85mbit ones and they are a godsend, much MUCH better than wireless could be IMHO.

I picked up the Belkin 85mb ones in Currys last year for 89 (Double pack).
Found them fantastic up until Dec when one just died. Read online that the Belkin ones have a poor record so maybe go with a different brand.
Can't praise the Tech enough though. Brilliant speeds on my xbox and rarely if ever have a stutter watching HD content.

If you want to stream HD, go for a 200mbps wireless plug. Netgear do then. I've two and they're brilliant. Haven't unplugged then in two years and still working perfectly!

yeah i've the netgear 200mbps plugs, excellent job - be wary of buying cheap/no name brands, we started off cheap in our house and paid for it, had several problems, all of which disappeared once we forked out for the netgear (about about 140 for a twin pack, at the time).

The more extension sockets it goes through, the poorer the signal gets too.

Bought the Devolo dLAN 200mbps AV+ starter kit today.

Got them in LE black from Dabs for €104 all in.

Plan is to hook one up to a switch and hook up to eth0 ports on my HDTV, XBOX 360S, PVR and BluRay player.

    Happy days!
