just passed the filling station in lifford tonight, and noticed that the petrol price has now risen to 140.5 per litre. this has only risen today.

has there been a rise across the county?
    are we being shafted?
is this rise coincidental with the rise in vat in the north?

    Take a look at : http://www.pumps.ie/

Average petrol price across the country is 139.9

Seems to be rising by the day.

Petrol in Lifford is completely influenced by the price in Strabane. Dalys has to stay lower than Dolans or business would die instantly. Price of petrol etc went up at midnight so dalys can increase it's price now and still be lower.
