Hey lads just wondering if there is a way to put ebooks on WP7 as there is no option in Zune. Also what would be the best app to read them off, preferably free. Oh and happy new year to everyone!

I'm currently using this somewhat awkward method. It works perfectly but certainly highlights the work that needs to be done by MS in order to get the OS to appeal to business uers.

By the way, the only other alternative I believe is to email the files to yourself and then download them to the phone from there.

There are a few ebook readers on the marketplace at the moment (such as freda or abook reader)

If you're using native apps like Word or Adobe reader then the easiest thing is to use m.dropbox.com in the WP7 browser to pick up files. There are dedicated Dropbox apps on the marketplace but they don't really add much value compared to the mobile dropbox site. When you download a PDF, for example, then that PDF will always be available with the Adobe Reader app unless you decide to delete it.

Anyway a Kindle app is being developed by Amazon so a legit and easy way to read a wide selection of books is on the way.
