Marginal but we havent had anything other than show so far so I'm not complaining too much. Problem is that the snow is constantly melting so its not really accumulating to any extent.

A balmy 3.1C here yet theres still been no rain, still frequent showers which have been mainly of hail and graupel over the past couple of hours

Still the same here all day, had some prolonged heavy sleet for about 2 hours earlier then back to the usual hail & graupel ever since. The temp has dropped a bit now so possibly a chance it'll turn back to snow later

The hail last night froze solid. It's like a skating rink.

In Waterford City low last night was -1.7c and there was a heavy frost. Currently its clear and sunny with a temp of 5.7c. Perfect Winters day

Has to be the worst ice of the winter so far, Skating rink is exactly what it is. There is 2 or 3 cm of ice frozen on the estate, no body can get out up the hill.

Temp reached a very mild 8.2c today with clear skies all day. Currently its 5.3c and falling which it should do for a while until the cloud from the approaching frontal system arrives later tonight.

Its very bad indeed, there was one bad weekend in early december with black ice, that was probably the worst in my opinion, i seen people on their hands and knees crawling across roads and crawling into their houses. lol
Today will catch people out, 5c out and still the ground is frozen solid.

N59 from Galway to Clifden was the slippiest I've ever experienced it. I prefer to drive on the snow than the amount of black ice that was present this morning, had 5 or 6 slides and I was going slowly and carefully

Temp dropping rapidly here, below 0 already, ice never thawed all day off the road.

Quite a nice day here for a change, bright and clear all day. Cold though with very little thaw, still a covering of snow everywhere, few cm in the grass.

Really slippy here as well but nowhere near as bad as it was at the end of the first cold spell back in early December where it was literally impossible to go anywhere
