Interesting strategy though - get him tanked, take advantage. A clever attractive lady!

    Clever, I'd agree..:)

Sorry boys, ye can't change the bet so it ye against each other.

However as i was wearing purple socks yesterday, as the brother pointed out in the pub while discussing the merits of 17th century Italian art, that would be too easy a bet for me if i was ever so silly as to gamble:D

I don't recall either myself or Digger raising or agreeing to any bet therefore we are not at odds with each other, while we're on the subject though subject to a disaster we should both see sub 4 so I reckon you'll all be very disappointed. What if Meno and Aimman have to wear them if they don't cross the line before say 3:50?

Did you not protest that your socks were in fact lilac?

If Myself or Aimman cross the line before 3:50 we'll be sacked.

42 for the half while the leaflet from Mallow says 45 so thought that was a bit odd.

Is that so? I've only ever been offered a taste of a good wine, the bottle was taken away before I could really appreciate it!

Not really showit...There's a massive amount of organisation involved in setting up an event that covers such a geographical area for that spread of time.....Also, the finishers technical top you get has to be worth at least €20 - €25 so all in all I reckon it's pretty good value!

Fyffes are proud to be the energy sponsor for the Join SPAR and Ray for 5K events. Good luck to all the runners and make sure to have a Fyffes banana before the run. Research has proven that just one Fyffes banana provides enough energy for a strenuous 45 minute workout making bananas the number one fruit with the worlds leading athletes.

of course you knew all this already... the wisdom of the ages

Entry sorted for the Adidas Series and the DCM which is now sponsored by The National Lottery and will be shown Live on ARE-TEE-EEE from what I've heard..

So, races booked so far are the Cork Marathon on June 7th (need to book a place to stay - Any suggestions?), Adidas 5 mile - 16th July, Adidas 10 mile - 20th Aug, Adidas Half - 17th Sept and DCM - 31st Oct.

    It's looking like a busy Summer.....:D

I'm not forgetting Dunshaughlin's 10k and the possibility of the pink compression socks btw....

Drove to Mayo and back today and went straight out for a run after I got back....I found it really tough, I think the increased mileage plus the race last Sunday has the legs feeling achy breaky...

Ran 8.83 miles at 9:06 pace

Did you say you were hoping for a sub4 in Cork? If you knocked out the 74min 10M in Mallow, it should be no problem for you.

That was me but Digger wasn't far behind, I've discussed revising his target with him but he's determined to run a conservative marathon. It's Claralara's sense rubbing off.
