Wow digs. Biggest mileage week for years.
You should go on holidays more often.

It's the sun.... I'm sure I have a touch of SAD, if that's a real illness/syndrome and not just a made-up fad like the juice detox ;)

Friday - 7 miles @ 8:58 with 6 x strides at the end - Totally overcast at first so the temperature was perfect but the sun came out for about 15 minutes and I was drenched. We ran by an impromptu track on hard-packed sand where some very decent guys were doing 400 repeats. Glad we didn't find that earlier in the week or I could have gone all a la n carte ;)

Fair play, that's some ramp up after the last few months you've had. Is it still 10% a week ?

Monday - 5 miles recovery - A couple of niggles in the first mile but all okay when I warmed up. Legs tired after but not too surprising as I had increased my LSR from just over a mile last week to 18 yesterday ;)

Tuesday - Hamstring was sore all day in work, quite tender in one place so took the smart option and didn't run.

Wednesday - Hamstring felt better and had a lunchtime run in the sun... 5 miles at 8:15 pace with 3 x strides at the end.

Thursday - 8 miles @ 8:13 pace, happy out.... As long as the legs recover for Saturday morning's LSR I'll be quite content :)

I saw a vision in orange with matching skin looking like they'd raided Claralara's make up bag running past Templeogue college. Thought I was seeing things!!!
