Anyway around delivery to Ireland via UK delivery only companies?

We're looking mainly at Argos etc which are vastly cheaper than down here but Argos (UK) won't deliver here, even though another boards poster said they would and there's items we can't come pick up either that are bulky

I seen a deliverme.ie post here (who was done for spamming) and this is the first I heard of such a service. Are there others?

Anyone know of how we could get around this? Bar asking people we don't know if they have relatives up the North!

Try the pallet network - they also deliver small cartons

argos are considered expensive in the uk too except for a few dozen items which they always try and highlight.

maybe try finding the product locally in another store - ask here if anyone knows where to get it.

also if it is a bulky item expect about €120 - €150 pallet delivery charge from uk.

Ordered a 40in TV from Amazon, got it delivered by deliverme.ie overnight. It's a good service for anything that can't be delivered direct to Ireland. Costs €20 to anywhere in Ireland.
