Liverpool seriously need to contemplate taking Torres off. Might as well be playing with 10 men.

Torres very luck to get away without a card, he should take him off at HT.

If Liverpool lose this, Woy is definitely getting his P45, tomorrow probably

Yellow for Lucas. I think Lucas was having that shoulder at Cahill over the Torres spat a minute or so earlier.

Bring in the reserve team and make the first team watch them and take notes including Roy taking notes on managerial tactics?

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 29,346 ✭✭✭✭homerjay2005

how did torres get away with that? even lucas yellow there was very very high, lucky boys the 2 of them.

All I want is for us to come out in the second half and grab this game by the balls and dominate. If we don't get the 3 points then whatever, just as long as we give it a ****ing go and suffocate Bolton. That's all I want from ya Roy.

As bad a job as Roy is doing and all that it's very difficult to legislate for Kuyt missing an absolute sitter and to a lesser extent poor marking in defending a free kick.

Well at least there is one positive from this game

Good to see Agger back and looking for the ball from Reina and bringing it forward

    that's true.

However these easy misses, poor marking, silly defending etc happens to all teams. Good teams deal with it by still scoring enough goals to win matches.

True, just pointing out that Liverpool could be 1 up here almost as easy as they are 1 down, they've been the better team from what I've seen.

Getting back to the match, what can Liverpool do to turn this around? Torres looks fooked but the only attacking options on the bench are Babel and Cole. I suppose you could try switching Torres and play Babel upfront. Also might be worth throwing on Cole for Kuyt. As poor as Cole has been playing, he couldn't be a worse option than Kuyt at the moment.
