Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Is Sky Anytime+ going to be HD only?

    Theres also some suspiciously ambiguous language being used in advertisements for Sky Atlantic, will we normal Sky user be fcuked over for that as well?

    This says that Anytime+ will be only on HD boxes, though the content itself will be SD.

    It'll also only be available if you have Sky Broadband, so it won't work in Ireland anyway (unless they partner with one of the ISPs here).

    They only supply the Sky+ HD box now to new customers.

    There is no single ISP that Sky can work with here. They have been meeting all the main ISPs here for years. They would need to buy about 3 ISPs, including UPC. UPC are not going to sell and any Competition "watchdog" would be loony to let them.

    Do they even need to work with any ISP, never mind buy one? Im sure the Anytime+ roll out would work much smoother for Sky if they worked with the Irish ISPs but I don't think it's vital for them to work closely with them.

    This Sky Anytime+ seems very over-rated. It's great to see Sky adding more value to our subscriptions but it's basically the Sky Player on your TV. I'd much rather see them improve the current Anytime line-up, at least that doesn't eat into my download limit

    the volumes of data involved, they would need to either host servers within the ISP's own network, or bring up a private connection back to Sky's core network. The first option would be much cheaper.
