Hey people in the know, i need a new set of headphones for the 360, but they must work with a PC too.

as little cabling as possible would be a plus.
    surround sound would be awesome.
mic not essential, but would be handy for the PC.

budget in around the €100 mark.

any suggestions? any online etailers recommended?

Might pick these up tomorrow. One question though-Do they work with the HDMI on the xbox. I hear reports that they don't becuase there is not enough space for them to fit.

actually can someone confirm this, as I was thinking about picking up a pair but just remembered about this problem with certain headphones now

The workaround for this is to plug the green connector from the headphones into the audio out on the back of your tv. All cables are supplied with the headphones. I have them set up this way and they are awesome.

I'm debating getting these or the wireless X41's, the idea of the batteries for the X41 are putting me off.

anyone much about the difference in sound between the X11's and the X41's?

How do you find the X11's?

Reading reviews there seems to be a lot of moaning about hissing and the sound a bit brittle etc

    These would be my recommendation.

They also make the normal wired headsets for Xbox.

    Plantronics

With the X11's can you tell in what direction a footstep/bullet is coming from?
