Now that an election is on the way instead of just nodding your head in agreement to the lads and lassies that will be calling for our votes wouldnt it be nice to have a list of interesting local politacal questions for the fools, instead of giving them abuse!

    Any suggestions...........

Yes. Forget about local issues. They are campaigning for election to the national parliament. The last thing we need is 166 Jackie Healy Raes.

Ask them what they're planning to do about devolving meaningful power to local authorities, and fundamentally reforming national government so that Dáil Éireann is something more than an irrelevant talking shop.

    Ask them why
They are all very interested in getting rid of the Senead all of a sudden.

Without Shane Ross etc alot of the questions asked about the Bankers would never have seen the light of Day
If we had 1 Directly elected Senator from each Constit. at say the Local election time(A bit like mid-term ) and reduce the number of TDs. Then it would be relevent to people

Just wondering if Enda has had a sex change. On the hacked site this message from the mighty smart economy blokes reads,

We thank you for your continued support for Fine Gael. If you have any feedback please to send it to emma@finegael2011.com

    http://finegael2011.com/

    It also says that

"The Fine Gael website was professionally hacked on the evening of January 9th by an entity calling themselves the Anonymous Group."

Three questions arise here, Enda or should that be Emma?

If the site was professionally hacked then would it be fair to say that the site was never professional in the first place?

How the **** can we trust you with the smart economy if you cant get the basic fundementals in place in connection with setting up a website. ie security of members who supply you with contact details.

Is this a case of Dumb and Dumber?

Talk about blatant trolling? Have you considered the probability that the member of staff who deals with the feedback is somebody called Emma? Do you really believe that Enda Kenny, or any other TD deals with the administration of the Fine Gael website? Would Bill Gates deal with administrative queries for Microsoft?

A quick google would tell you that some of the biggest companies/websites in the world, including Google & Twitter, not to mention boards.ie have all been hacked as recently as 2010. I know very little about IT but I would imagine that the security employed by the websites mentioned would challenge any hacker but they still got past whatever encryption or firewalls existed. Even the most anti Fine Gael voter would admit that the hacking of their website is hardly going to dictate their ability or otherwise to run the country.

In relation to the final question, you'd do well to ask it of yourself.
