Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

What weight is mike reid and Myles price bein fought at?
Also If anyone going to this hasnt gotten the chance to see Rimas Pukas fight yet look out for him. Training with us for about 8 months now id say and is without a doubt the best striker/most well rounded fighter ive ever rolled/sparred with.

Is Philip mulpeter fighting A class at chaos and then going back down to b class at this event?

Do fighters often switch between a class and b class?

Yes, there's not much difference between them so people often switch depending on the matchups on offer.

amazing show, congrats to Andy and the lads on running a great show.............
my only complaint is the Boo boys...far too many there from newer established clubs fans :/ hopefully in time all will learn that respect is a MUST in the sport..

BUT....well done Battlezone, definitely on the up and will challenge most top shows around next time round im sure :D

Actually on the boos, were people booing Grant when he got the decision or Barry because he thought he won? I couldn't tell.

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 132 ✭✭DB888

Sitting there I was not too sure what the boos were about.Grant put in an excellent performance, relentless on the takedowns and stayed in control while on top.Really enjoyed that fight..

i noticed HUGGGE boo's for Stephen King aswel from alot of lads from Swords that i would know to see, not one of them are involved in MMA but yet Boo lads who train hard and have the bottle to get in and fight a great fight.....and dont take this as me having a go at the fighter, great debut performance from Al....just didnt like the fact there were MASSIVE amounts of booing his opponent on the way into the cage, let alone AFTER the DQ :(

and Barry i thought Grant won easily too, his gameplan worked, take the fight to the ground and work for dominant position, Barys hands were good as always but Grant used his takedowns well and deserves the W!!

  • Banned (with Prison Access) Posts: 2,917 ✭✭✭Barry.Oglesby

It was probably because Stephen and Grant are ginger. Will the prejudice ever end?

The boo's didnt really bother me at all. At the end of the day most of the people are there to watch someone they know fight, its a charged atmosphere, if they want to boo thats up to them, I dont have a problem with it.

I'd just like to thank Al for a great fight (Im only getting flashbacks of it now), JK and the SBG crew for the training and support in the lead up to it, and Andy and Stephen for putting on a cracking show-it was really well organised, an awesome experience all round.

I think that dude in the video is just confused Gary. Gingers dont have souls!
