Buying a house - previous asking prices

I am looking at possibly buying a house in an estate near me. How do I find out what the previous asking prices were. I remember seeing a site about this before but cant find it now. Ther were a few houses sold in the estate too. How do I find out what price these were sold for. Thanks for any help.
