Head torches?

    Hi Guys
Thought I would throw this out there and see what people think. I am doing the Art o Neill this weekend so need a head torch and am thinking I have no clue about what to buy. FIrst shop recommended the Petzl Myo XP as the brightest and swankiest but the guy in Great Outdoors then said I should try the Tikka XP2 as he reckoned the Myo XP would be very heavy for long distance/ time wearing. As someone who has neck problems this seemed to make sense but I am wondering if the Tikka XP2 at 60 lumens is bright enough. Anyone got any thoughts?
    Cheers

The Tikka is plenty bright enough for trail running, I have used one (until I misplaced it ) for night time forrest runs in the past.

Like mloc123 I use the tikka for night running and it certainly does the job.
I have also used the e+lite not as bright as the tikka but only weighs a few grams so it won't bother your neck.

There was a thread on the very subject around a month ago, have a look here.

I got one (Gamma from Alpkit) that was recommended on the MarathonTalk podcast & and find it grand for my needs.

Looks like the Petzl will be ok but might check out the silva ones too as Basecamp seems to be stocking them! Have to get on Wednesday so mail order is out :)
