usb-3.5mm headphone jack

hi guys

i have a fairly good headphone headset that i use on my laptop but it has a usb connection. is there any way i can get an adapter to plug them into my ipod?.
had a bit of a search on google but i can't seem to find anything.
no problems in getting an adapter to do the reverse of what iam looking for:(

I don't think it's a simple fix, but can you re-cable them?

I doubt there's any adaptor you can get for that. Most usb headsets actually install themselves as seperate soundcards on your computer so aren't really designed to be plugged into a 3.5mm port. A non runner really. You could probably run your ipod into the computers line in then use the headset on the computer, if you only want it for home use. Might be some sound degradation there though.

Eh, No.

That adaptor is just a short data lead for the ipod nano. The nano uses points within the headphone port for data.. Won't do anything for the op!
