Whats the situation in New Zealand, does it take as long to secure a visa? Any advice or opinions would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

Really for Specific advice speak to a MARA agent.

but as a rough guide 8-12 months would be best case scenario for the visa itself, for a regional visa you need to be state sponsored and that could take up to 6 months before you could even apply for the above visa.
