    Hi guys
I'm just wondering what people use to get the best results. I've tried regular chemist foam plugs, wax plugs , waves foam plugs and the musicians ear plugs with the filters and found the waves the best out of the bunch. What do you guys use???

I use ACS custom built Attenuators with -15db and -25db filters (depending what gig i'm at and how close i am to the stage or if i'm playing). Specsavers are an agent for them and will do the moulds and arrange the product for you with a two week turn around. They're absolutely brilliant and are built in a Siemens lab in Germany. I play gigs and go to gigs with them and i never feel l'm missing anything sonically which can't be said for plugs. They're pricey compared to the generic attenuators and plugs you get but they are completely worth it. You can't put a price on your hearing and if you are often in a loud environment then you need to treat yourself with custom attenuation.
