    Hi,

I am looking to buy some bathroom suites for a new build (4-5 toilets, 4-5 sinks, 1 bath, 3 shower heads, screens, taps etc)

Has anyone any advice on where to buy? There are some great sales on at the moment at some of the big outlets (e.g., B and Q) but is the quality good?

Any advice would be greatly appreciated

I got alot of stuff off Vogue Bathrooms before. They are online or have a warehouse and showroom in Ballycoolin.

Prices are expensive. As are most dedicated bathroom places,

Any decent builders providers will severly undercut their prices.

You can also pick up nice and stylish bathroom suite kits in many of the larger builders providers for a few hundread euro these days.

yeah the likes of chadwicks etc have access to all the major sanitary ware companys like sonas, armitage etc but would be cheaper than a lot of specialist retailers.

Was in B+Q tonight....serious savings on the cooke and lewis bathroom ranges....up to 60% off plus another 15% off if you buy before the 10th Jan.

Missus has just clocked up 2 grands worth of stuff for 2 bathoom re-fits....was over 4 grand originally.

Also good value on the "value" range of bathroom stuff....€60 for a nice toilet and €60 for a nice sink with pedestal.

    +1 for builders providers.

Walk into any high street shop and a cheap suite is like 500 euro. A builders provider can provide known brands for 100 euro.

They are not cheap but nobody will be there prices if they are given a chance...

    Not even B&Q.;);)

The builders providers that I used for my main bathroom and ensuite for my build bet them by a good few euros.

And that was even taking into account haggling like feck with the sales chap in Vogue,at the time

We bought our stuff from the back warehouse though and not the showroom. The warehouse was selling excess stock off cheap at that time. Not sure if they do all the time but we went up because we saw a flyer online about a sale.

Got nice sink and toilet sets that were selling for £500 online (I checked the prices) for €129 each.

Also got a large corner whirlpool jacuzzi bath, with jets fitted, for €600. My brother went to local builders providers last year and the cheapest he got was €1000 for the same style Whirlpool jacuzzi and that was cheaper than any showrooms or anywhere alright.

    Hi,

I've been around a few of the builders providers and I agree that they probably represent the best value (although I wont rule out vogue as per Joey's advice).

Regarding the brands of bathroom suites (shire, armitage etc.), what represents the best value. I have to go back to the builders providers with the suites that I want so that they can give me a quote.

    Any advice would be appreciated

    Hi,

    Just looking for some assistance in compiling a list of some of the UK manufacturers that I should look at;

    Shires, armitage, twyford...

Spoke to a guy in Heiton Buckley who strongly recommended the UK products...they sell both UK and Chinese stuff

I agree with looking at uk products but the biggest problem with uk manufacturers is a large proportion of there stuff is now imported from china. Its simply a name change.

For example. The wicklow suite one of the most famous qualcerm suites had its shires copy. There is now about 4 chainese copies through the same manufacturer.

I would not worry about buying chinese. I would just be prepared for problem solving
