3 degrees at present in Castleknock but temperature seems to be dropping however. Dry as a bone. I expect sleet followed by wet snow later on in the night... Anyway I am moving to Corsica in September so I DO NOT want cold weather down there. French Canada was bad enough, Ireland not as bad but I am looking forward to warm weather from late March to early November which is what you get in Ajaccio!! And the fly fishing and food/wine (being French of course) is sublime!!!

Raining here near thurles, co tipp,

    edit. slightly sleety at best

Thats game over for snow surely

As I said yesterday and again this morning. Tipperary is literally tipping point between the snow and rain. Anywhere north of that looks far more positive

Ok i'm confused 50% of the people seemed adamant that Kilkenny and the surrounding counties would get snow.... Now i'm just hearing rain rain rain. All i wanted was snow on my Birthday!

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 252 ✭✭danni2

It should'nt be too long now till that band hits the midlands, had a quick walk outside and it does feel cold enough for snow and also the ground it still quite frozen in grass areas so I expect snow to stick if this band does fall as snow, let's hope it does!:)
