Heavy rain in Kells for about an hour, now snowing heavily and beginning to stick.

You just come in and post the most ridiculous random crap. Are you mentally ok?

I will give that comment a miss or should I say give it 'a no comment'. We all make random statements on this board, all of us every now and then.

Does this mean we might get a little bit in the North west by any chance? ;)

Once this system pushes away eastwards toward England, snow showers should develop in Donegal and parts of North Connacht

Rained for about 20 mins at the start, lightly. Quickly turned to snow. Been falling for an hour and a half and there is a nice dusting at the momen. I'd say the 3-5 cms might be spot on after all. Still snowing though.

BBC radar shows rain, although they have been chopping and changing the rain to snow and vice versa a lot recently on that sequence.
Going by the DMI nedbor there are some beast of showers coming tomorrow for us. Lord knows if its rain or snow though. Not getting my hopes up.

Apparently it's snowing in Kells so it can't be that far away from us.

the showers during the early hours of Saturday should be mostly of snow. tomorrow afternoon it'll probably be a sleety rain mix at lower levels.

Yes, its been raining since about 5 this evening. Its stopped snowing now, little bit lodged on grass and car, looks like the front is dying rapidly overhead.
