Apparently it's snowing in Kells so it can't be that far away from us.

Ahh, cool! Hopefully we get some, although I doubt it will stick with the amount of water on the ground, but just watching it fall is great! :) Thnks!

Yes, its been raining since about 5 this evening. Its stopped snowing now, little bit lodged on grass and car, looks like the front is dying rapidly overhead.

Not a nice radar, weakening, pretty confident that there will be now very low accumulation if any to lower area's in the East, the band is just too weak, and really, wasn't expecting it to discipate like the way it has...higher up maybe, but yeah, Non-event, points to Black briar I believe...

a reasonable temperature gradient forming along that front. Howth is just in the mild section and 4.4c, highest of the day.

This shouls start moving back south and eastwards in next few hours.

I'm living in east Co. Limerick and we have had heavy snow - we managed to escape the snow before Christmas. Just had a horrendeous drive home via the village of Caherconlish. I hate driving in the snow

Got soaked in North Dublin this evening,Headed down the M7 toward home and intense bursts of rain with sleet mixed. It was doing its best to snow but sadly no.Would have been blinding whiteout for sure.Such a pity.Still pissing rain.Very disappointed.Ground is flooded now so any snow later can go sh1te.

have u seen the radar, OMG if that stays on the same path, we are in for some snow here,

has been snowing up the tops for 5 hours, but just sleety at lower lvls,

No snow in West Wicklow yet, has been raining on and off (mostly on)since about 15.30. Lot of surface water on roads. If it does snow later cant imagine any of it sticking!
