avi on Nokia N97

Apologies if this question has been answered before but boards.ie will not let me search for the terms N97, avi or .avi; all of them being deemed to be too short. Does anyone know if or how I can play .avi files on my Nokia N97. I used to do it fine on my N95 8GB but it doesn't work on my N97. Any help appreciated.
