I need to hire a kango hammer for a job I'm doing, i got an electric one afew years ago and found it ok, but someone told me to get a pneumatic one because it will make the job alot easier.

Is this true and are the available to hire?

By pneumatic, do you mean a Hydraulic breaker, or an air compressed breaker?

These are avaialble to hire, but are massive machines. What / how much are you looking to break?

Air compressor breakers generally come with a diesel driven compressor on a trailer.

My site is sitting on a slate type of stone, Its a nightmare to dig anywhere.

I want to dig a deep channel from my well to my garage about 20feet long and lower the pipe because it froze over xmas.

I used a eletcric one years ago and found it hard work and someone told me get a air one(pneumatic).

I'm have no idea which one is best.

You should be able to hire a hydraulic "breaker pack"

Would you not consider hiring a JCB with a breaker attached. It might be a little more expensive but a lot less hassle. If you have never used a breaker they can also be a little dangerous. Make sure you have Steel toe Capped Shors on.
