I always associate salads with coming home from school on a summers day as a kid, and mother dearest saying "here, theres the makings of a salad, that'l keep ya going. And put some brown bread with it..now"

I like a good chicken salad with dressing on the side. I hate it when my lettuce, tomatoes etc are nearly drowning in the dressing!!
