    Just wondering if it's possible for me to use a southern sky account on my xbox which is in the north with virgin broadband ?

    Yes.

    I still have an Irish Sky account linked to my Xbox which now resides on a Virgin cable connection in the UK.

    I have my sky on xbox linked to mine also... I only have a few channels though and can only play the on demand stuff from my package... Can I just pay extra money to get the Movies and Entertainment so I can watch them live?... If so how much??

    Just to echo what robinph said its very possible, i am in derry and the sky account i have linked into my xbox is in Dublin :)
