Would not really bother £City as the transfer window is open.

    Idiots.

tbf I don't think Zabaleta deserves to be sent off there though, he didn't do anything, Sagna was the one who shoved his head forward.

You have a yellow card in your pocket you retard of a ref.

Red for that; for both? **** off.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 5,500 ✭✭✭Fuzzy_Dunlop

The ref really should have just given sagna a yellow and left Zabaleta be.

I dont think either of them should have been sent off. There was nothing in it.

However, we did get the invention of a new term courtesy of Mr.Andy Gray... "The referee's got that BANG WRONG" wtf

  • Registered Users Posts: 11,692 ✭✭✭✭OPENROAD

    Awful stuff from City

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 23,570 ✭✭✭✭Frisbee

Arsenal in not clinical enough shocker.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 29,137 ✭✭✭✭Quazzie

I came on here to read how the City fans were going to defend that performance but I guess they must all think that ignorance is bliss and if they don't discuss it then they don't have to believe its true.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 5,500 ✭✭✭Fuzzy_Dunlop

Bah we really should have won that match.

Two clean sheets in a row, on the plus side?

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 23,316 ✭✭✭✭amacachi

I honestly don't think I've ever seen a team try so little to win a match as tonight.

City are a disgrace. Exact same against Utd. Not even the tiniest inclination to play football.

  • Registered Users Posts: 3,254 ✭✭✭shano_88

Only saw the last 15 mins. Sagna deserved to go, Zab was unlucky.

By the way the commentators are talking, Arsenal were a bit unlucky. Still though, A point is a descent result.

City will never amount to anything with such a pathetic game plan in big games.

There's no plus side to being 5 points behind last seasons tally and falling further behind United. Awful performance from City, good defending all the same!

What a wasted opportunity Zabaleta definitely should not have been sent off, Sagna was an idiot and I hope Wenger slaps a fine on top of whatever ban he gets from the FA!

Arsenal hit the post three times, so yeah they were a little unlucky. The way that match went it's very disappointing to not get the win.

Will you's go away outta that,so we have beaten Chelsea,Liverpool, drawn with United and Arsenal this season and we're still gettin bashed? Tactics my friends

Are you proud of that performance tonight?

LOL @ How many posters winging about the lack of city fans posting during the match?

As a City fan, Arsenal you were unlucky tonight, we should have been 3 or 4 down in the first half alone. A portion better in the 2nd half but you had us rattled from the start and I think it was all we could do to contain you to a point.

No matter what other posters cry about, I'm actually delighted with a point away to Arsenal, it's better than coming away with nothing.

As for Zab, never should have been sent off.

Give it a rest already, not like you team ever had a poor show on the field of football.

I meant it more as a joke but this result doesn't feel as bad as some of the other ones this year. We played pretty well and should be looking to build on our recent good form.

Only have United and Spurs at home to play now out of the 'top Five'.

There is a difference between a poor show and the tactical disgrace that City displayed tonight. They struggled to string two passes together and at one stage Tevez picked up the ball during open play about 5 yards outside his own box and he was the furthest man forward.

I think you'll find that a clean sheet for Hart says that it does!

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 14,480 ✭✭✭✭cson

I'm telling you, as crazy as it sounds City don't have the attacking players to take the game to Arsenal or United away. Tevez was almost playing a sweeper role in midfield for most of that match! I don't think Flappo had a save to make?

Anyway; no point blaming City, we should have been good enough to beat and we didn't so it's on us as far as I'm concerned. They set the stall out from the start and had we put that early chance away or one of the posts had been a foot the other side then we might have seen a game.

Btw; Arshavin is piss and I do want him out. You can point to assists and goals all you like but I can't suffer watching him much longer.

Mancini would want to formulate a plan for the Champions League next year too because you won't go far in it playing for draws.

... I actually hope Spurs finish ahead of City again this season. That adequately describes my feelings on City's display.

    Advantage Man United.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 23,570 ✭✭✭✭Frisbee

We didn't hit the post three times. We hit it twice.

Walcott hit the post after being flagged offside, if he had scored it you wouldn't say it was 0-0 but we scored once.
