Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

    Hi,

The house I'm in has a Sky satellite dish but I've never bothered to connect.

Can I just buy a Freesat receiver like the ones below, connect it up and I'm sorted?

Any help greatly appreciated. Sorry in advance if it's a stupid question :D

    Cheers,

    Ger

I actually own that receiver. Its very good and you should be fairly impressed with the 2 x HD channels if you have a flat panel HD TV. It uses a single input from your dish.

You can also get one with a recorder like the Humax Foxsat HDR and this will allow you to record programmes like Sky+ (although this will need 2 cables coming from the dish to work).
