    Hey,

Just letting you know that there will be a production of Hamlet done in UCD starting on Monday 10th of January. Here's the press release for the show along with all the information!

U.C.D. presents their Annual Shakespeare Production, 'Hamlet'

Following the successes of the previous Shakespeare productions of Macbeth and King Lear, the Dramatic Society of University College Dublin will be presenting one of Shakespeare's finest works, Hamlet; the Tragedy of the Prince of Denmark, this January in the Astra Hall in the Student Centre, U.C.D.

Award-winning director Stephen Jones presents Shakespeare’s finest in a contemporised Denmark that stays true to the themes and language of this legendary classic, producing a fast-paced performance that promises to thrill and astound audiences.

The Annual Shakespeare Production, now in its fifth year, gives Irish audiences the chance to see a live performance of one of Shakespeare’s classics. The principle aim of the production is to present the play in a manner that will assist English students in their Leaving Certificate exams, but also to provide the public in general the chance to see live Shakespeare for themselves!

Evening performances will run from the 10th to the 14th of January, starting at 7 p.m. with afternoon performances taking place on the 12th, 14th and the 15th of January, at 13 p.m. Tickets are €8 (school students), €10 (college students), & €12 (others). All enquiries will be handled by contacting Dramsoc by email through leavingcertshow@ucddramsoc.com.
