Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

One is in Poland and the other in Ireland.

Since it's inexpensive perhaps the real Irish retailer that posts here regularly may be a lower risk?

Neither of them has detailed specifications. Both are for indoor or need weather proof box (despite any claims of being waterproof).

The eBay one is more like a third of the price.

In my experience, unless you go for one of the well known brands, chances are that the bits and pieces are all the same and probably come from the same factory in China, just with different labels on the front.

And as said, this will be no good if you're thinking of installing outside, unless you encase the thing in silicone. If installing outside, you want one with all connections on the same side, and a plastic box that you can slide the switch and f-connectors up into.

Can anyone recommend somewhere that sells the outdoor switches. I can only find the indoor ones.

The only outdoor one I know is the Global. Very unreliable.

Just cut a drinks bottle and put it upside down with all five cables coming out the bottom.

But if you have more than 1 PVR a multiswitch may be better. They are usually indoor only as they tend to have similar number of in and out cables.
